This is a fiction book, but some times it's just so real that's scaring... the most glamorous people in LA having their lives in the hands of a bomber. Would their billions be able to buy their life?

"This was the age of communication. You took it for granted that you could connect to anyone in the world in seconds, by computer or phone. And the thing was, most of those communications were meaningless, a waste of breath and words. Then, that one time when you really needed to contact someone, the technology let you down. The signal died or the computer crashed. Or the battery ran out. If that didn't define irony, JJ didn't know what did."

I would love to watch this movie, it has all the ingredients to be the next hit. It has action, tragedy and so many shocks that you will be jumping all the movie! But this is a book, not a movie, and it's quite different... It's so cruel and there's so much violence for nonsense that I didn't enjoyed it very much.
It's well written, oh yes, you can feel the characters emotions on your skin, it will be a long time since you enter in a restaurant without looking at the rear door! I think one of my biggest problems is that I didn't sympathise very much with the main characters... We have JJ, the PR who solves all stars problems with money. Or Alex King, the new super star who doesn't know what he really wants... We can not forget the press, ready to bribe anyone to have news. Or the bomber, who has a bomb and a gun and is ready to kill anyone... Really, who would you choose to safe? Because I am still not sure!
This book is for adrenaline lovers who are not scared to die!
How much would you pay to stay alive?
